President's Message

March 2008


I would like to thank the chapter members of North Surburban Medical Center for hosting the April 10 meeting. Also, I want to recognize Dave Kriese for sponsoring the dinner and prizes.

May 8, 2008 will be our last chapter meeting for the 2007-2008 year. For me, it marks an end to my tenure as President and starts the beginning for President-elect Marilyn Payer. Over this past year I have enjoyed the triumphs of our suscesses and have learned from my failures. What has become apparent to me is the dedication, commitment and the passion each of you, in your own way, brings to the Denver Chapter. I could not have made the chapter meetings appear so flawless without the time, energy and talent of you our membership.

Words can not express what an honour it has been for me to serve as your President. I will be around for another year as the Past President, but that is my “payback” for having the spotlight shine on me this past year. Again, it is with the greatest affection for you—the membership—that I have served as President of Denver AORN. THANK YOU!!
